Catherine Crouch

Catherine Crouch is an American film director, screenwriter, producer, cinematographer and actor. She has been active in independent filmmaking for over two decades. Most of her work explores gender, race, and class in lesbian lives. She is most well known for Stray Dogs (2002), Stranger Inside (2001), and The Gendercator (2007).

Crouch was born August 13, 1960 at Fort Benning, Georgia and is currently living and working in Indianapolis, Indiana.

College: Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy & Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the College of Charleston, South Carolina in 1988.

Film School: Master of Fine Arts in Film & Video from Columbia College Chicago, in 1999.
